with the human body for the past 12 years. Her
ceremonial body paintings celebrate the human spirit
in a unique way, while also serving as a healing
process, encouraging self-acceptance and a positive
body image. A collection of her work will soon be
released in the book “Starbodies.”
Based in Los Angeles, Star has received worldwide
attention for her work. She has been featured in
Ameca, an Italian fashion magazine, AustrAlasia

documentary on world famous body painters for the
Discovery Channel. She is currently filming a
documentary on her work. Locally, her work was
featured in the Los Angeles Times and can be seen in
Santa Monica at the restaurant Ma’Kai on Ocean Avenue
